Our Chef

Krishna B Malla's journey has finally landed him here with New Delhi Indian Cuisine. His story in short started from the 1983's as a cook and landed him at the Mughal Mahal Restaurant in Chandigarh and ever since there has been no stopping.

Moving on to Hotel Basera in Secunderabad and then as Commi II at the Taj View Hotel in Agra. Then in 1990 he landed back in his home country Kathmandu Nepal at the Taj managed Hotel Del Annapurna Kathmandu as Demi Chef De Parte; and in 1993 he was offered a job at the Kantipur Restaurant in Tokyo Japan as a Kitchen Chef and while working there, in 2002, he was offered a Kitchen Chef in Oslo Norway.

And in 2005 he was offered a Kitchen Chef at the Taste of the Himalayas Berkeley which did not last for long and in a couple of months he was working at Amber Cafe in Mountain View for a while 2005-2007, until he was offered Sous Chef at the Mantra Restaurant in Palo Alto. Then in 2008 Amber India, San Francisco got him back and there he worked until 31 August 2023. And 1 September 2023 he and his partner have been running New Delhi Indian Cuisine.
